Do you service DoorKing systems?

Yes. We are a DoorKing certified dealer and service DoorKing telephone entry systems, gate operators, and access controllers. We also install and service other major brands including LiftMaster, Viking, Elite, All-O-Matic, HySecurity, and Linear, so you are not locked into one manufacturer.

How fast can you get out for a broken gate?

We prioritize gates that are stuck closed or stuck open because they are a safety and access issue. In most cases we can be on site within 24 to 48 hours across Hillsborough, Pasco, and Hernando counties, and often same day for emergencies.

Can you fix my gate, or do I have to replace the whole system?

In most cases we repair. Operators, control boards, loops, and safety edges are all serviceable parts. We only recommend replacement when the operator is obsolete, parts are no longer available, or the repair cost approaches the price of a new unit — and we will tell you that plainly.

What does an HOA gate maintenance contract include?

Scheduled preventative maintenance visits, lubrication and adjustment of moving parts, safety device testing, UL 325 compliance checks, control board and battery inspection, and priority scheduling for service calls. Communities on a maintenance plan have far fewer emergency failures.

Is my community gate required to meet UL 325 safety codes?

Yes. Automated vehicular gates must meet UL 325 and ASTM F2200 requirements, which cover photo eyes, safety edges, entrapment protection, and gate construction. We perform compliance audits and bring older installations up to code — this matters for both resident safety and HOA liability.

Options include a telephone entry call box that dials the resident, keypad codes, vendor codes with time limits, and app-based guest passes that expire after use. We help HOA boards pick the mix that fits their community's traffic.
